Convicting and powerful words revealing the shallowness of my Christian life. Lord Jesus, I confess that my selfish attitude and lack of daily concern for the billions in our lost world is sin. Forgive me. Help me to see people through your eyes. Guide me by your Spirit to live with a renewed heart during the number of days remaining in the earthly life you have given me. Guard my heart from the deception of seeking the ease and comfort of this world which will all one day be destroyed, and fill my heart with your truth. Give me a burden for the lost world for which you died at Calvary and rose again to save. Help me to be a faithful witness as I go about daily, and cause my heart to be sensitive to the direction of your Holy Spirit that endwells me. Amen. Stan
